Her sister was reading a book, and Alice was thinking “what is the use of a book without pictures and conversation?” Then, Alice saw a white rabbit saying “Oh, dear! Oh, dear! I shall be too late.” Alice followed the rabbit all the way to wonderland. After entering into wonderland, Alice found some things with magic power, such as, a drink that could make her body become tiny. Later, she encountered some strange people, and was not only her body size changing, but also her mind. In the end of the story, Alice was more mature than the beginning. Reflection: When I was a kid, I watched the Disney’s movie, Alice in wonderland, for the first time. I never thought about other meaning in this story, I always thought that it is just a story, a dream, and that’s all. After reading the book, I suddenly realized that this story have lots of interesting points. My favorite part of that book is when hatter and the king talking because there was a funny pun there, which showed the writer’s humor and wisdom. Also, there is a special part in the story. That is the last part, when her sister started dreaming and half believed herself in wonderland. I think what the writer was trying to say is when you are a child, you believed every magical thing, but when you become an adult, the only thing you believed is the fact. Her sister half believed the wonderland because she was in the between of child and adult. She still believed in some magical things, but she knew the facts as well, which is why she half believed herself in wonderland.
